HGV 1 Driver - Glasgow Cambuslang
Location: Glasgow Cambuslang Investment Park
Role: HGV Class 1 - New pass drivers welcome, previous Class 2 experience preferred.
We are recruiting experienced Class 1 drivers for our depot in Cambuslang - Glasgow. The role involves refrigerated deliveries to shops and stores, with 8-15 drops per day, including tail lift and cages.
This is a permanent contract for successful candidates.
Immediate starts available.
Shift timings: Friday to Monday, various start times (00:00, 02:00, 03:00, 05:00).
Day pay rates (PAYE):
* Sunday and Bank Holidays: £23.80
* Sunday and Bank Holidays: £27.19
Note: 30-minute break deducted per shift.
Candidate requirements:
* In-date DIGI and CPC cards
* Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful, and organized
* Motivated and eager to learn new skills
* Excellent attitude towards work
Your responsibilities:
* Driving within WTD and EU regulations
* Completing vehicle checks
* Maintaining high customer service levels and ensuring timely deliveries
