Join our team as a Security Guard and help us create safe and secure environments for our clients, staff, and the public. We are expanding our sites in General Duties, Healthcare, Campus, Industrial, Mobile, Events, and more.
Location: In the Kootenays (Trail, Nelson, Castlegar, Cranbrook, Elkford, anywhere in the Kootenays Region)
Position Type: Full-Time/ Part-Time / Casual Opportunities Available
Site rate: $21.00 - $32.00 (rates may vary based on the site)
What You’ll Do
1. Provide a visible security presence and maintain a safe environment.
2. Patrol premises, monitor access control, and report irregularities.
3. Respond to emergencies, alarms, and incidents with professionalism.
4. Enforce site rules, regulations, and safety procedures.
5. Complete detailed and accurate daily reports.
6. Deliver excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and the public.
What We’re Looking For
7. Valid BC Security License
8. Basic Occupational First Aid Training is an asset
9. Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle is an asset
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
11. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
12. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
13. Previous security or customer service experience is an asset
14. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
