We’re looking for an experienced and caring Mental Health Support Worker to join our dedicated team at Field View – a CQC Registered Service supporting people with severe and enduring mental health challenges. About Field View Crisis Accommodation Field View offers a supportive and welcoming space for people experiencing mental health difficulties. We provide four Crisis beds, available for up to seven nights, giving individuals a safe place to stay while they work through a difficult time. Our team is on hand 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ensuring that everyone who comes to us receives compassionate, person‑centred support whenever they need it. Alongside our accommodation service, we also run an emotional support helpline for anyone aged 16 and over, offering a listening ear and guidance during moments of distress. This is a place where people are met with kindness, dignity, and understanding—and where staff can make a real difference every day. What will you do? In this role, I will support individuals on their recovery journey, helping them build skills, confidence and independence. My work will include: Providing one‑to‑one key‑worker support and building positive, professional relationships Carrying out assessments and developing personalised support and safety plans Encouraging people to manage their mental and physical wellbeing Supporting individuals with daily living skills and accessing community services Liaising with mental health agencies, professionals and community groups Contributing to safeguarding and promoting a safe, supportive environment Keeping accurate records, monitoring progress and sharing information with the team Helping improve the service by offering feedback and supporting colleagues What we’re looking for: Experience supporting people with mental illness or in a social care setting (paid or voluntary) Great listening skills, empathy, patience, and kindness Ability to work with digital systems (Microsoft applications, email, internet) A commitment to our values and willingness to learn If you have transferable skills and a passion for helping others, we’d love to hear from you!
