KeyResponsibilities:
* Productionof applications/valuations
* Costmanagement
* CVR reporting andforecasting
* Stock ConditionSurveys
* Minimising cost, maximising value andprotecting profit
* Utilise direct labour andsubcontractors to ensure works have labour targets and deliveragreed profit
* Procurement of subcontractors,materials and plant
* Resolve any contractualissues from our client and supplychain
* Production of company budgets and cashflows
* Production of financialreports
* Ensuring the full delivery team isaware of our contractual & commercialrequirements
* Manage cashcollection
* Reporting progress to seniormanagement
* Agreement of final accounts andcompletion of required client documentation to facilitate clientapproval
JobTasks
* Manage thefinancial aspects of the business from projects and manufacturingfacility
* Manage cost control, utilising cost& value reporting & cash flowforecasting.
* Produce monthlyvaluations.
* Valuing and raisingvariations.
* Attending and reviewingpre-contract meetings.
* Review, comment andagree sub-contract orders
* Contract costingreviews.
* Produce labour records &budgets per contract
* Measure drawings forcontract works
* Produce work in progress figuresand schedules
* Review and authorise supplierinvoices
* Raise sub-contractororders
* Agree finalaccounts
* Assisting the accounts team tomaintain cash flow
* Advise on creditinsurance
* Review, comment and agreesub-contract warranties
* Assist the estimatingteam
Knowledge/Experience:
-Strong background in construction, including projects up to4m
- Excellent negotiation and communicationskills
- Professional Qualification (e.g.,HNC/HND/Degree/Diploma) or equivalent
- Extensiveexperience in commercial management and subcontractorprocurement
- Good knowledge of monthlyreporting
- Minimum 3 years of Quantity Surveyorexperience
- Surveying: 2 years(required)
- Minimum 5 years of constructionindustry experience
- Full UK DrivingLicence

- 40,000.00- 65,000.00 peryear
