Project Manager / Senior Project Manager | End-to-End Delivery for Major Automotive Account Northamptonshire - Hybrid Working ( 4 days in the office)
Are you a highly organised Project Manager ready to own the delivery of diverse, large-scale events for a major automotive client? We are exclusively recruiting for a fast-paced agency role that demands strong logistical expertise, commercial acumen, and meticulous end-to-end event management. This is a critical role reporting directly into the Account Director.
This is a primarily office-based role (requiring a strong office presence) due to inventory management and close team collaboration. Full driving licence and willingness to travel frequently across the UK are essential.
Diverse Portfolio: Own the full project lifecycle for events including conferences, exhibitions, drive & rides, and significant large-scale outdoor events.
Logistics & Inventory Focus: A hands-on role managing suppliers (venues, caterers) and overseeing the deployment of agency stock (e.g., marquees and stored event assets). Manage budgets typically up to £100k, working autonomously to deliver projects from brief to reconciliation, supporting the Account Director on pitches when necessary.
Fast-Paced Agency: You will join a growing team requiring high energy, flexibility, and a collaborative, 'team player' mentality.
Demonstrable experience as a Project Manager in a fast-moving agency environment (Events/Communications).
Budget Management: Experience managing project budgets up to $£100,000$ (or similar complexity), handling financial tracking and supplier negotiation.
Strong background in event logistics, including coordinating venues, catering, and supplier management.
Team Player: Used to working collaboratively in a busy team, reporting into a senior lead (Account Director).
Travel Ready: Comfortable with significant UK travel; must hold a full driving licence.
While not a production role (dedicated production managers are in place), a hands-on, practical approach to managing physical assets is beneficial.
Work autonomously to manage multiple projects end-to-end (conferences, exhibitions, ride & drives, outdoor events).
Take full responsibility for supplier relationships, negotiation, and contract management (venues, caterers, etc.).
Oversee the practical logistics of large outdoor events, coordinating agency stock and physical event assets from the company stores.
Maintain strict budget control, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within the agreed financial parameters.
Provide support to the Account Director during the pitching process for new business and account growth.
You are an experienced Project Manager with impeccable logistical skills who thrives in a demanding agency environment. You are a natural team player, comfortable owning projects entirely, and happy to be office-based in the Northamptonshire area to support a major automotive account.
