Rajinda Pradesh is our contemporary Eastern-inspired restaurant serving freshly made dishes, from mild and creamy to rich and fiery using real ingredients inspired by tastes from India and across Asia.
Restaurant Manager | Circa £41,800 per annum plus 12% bonus
Responsibilities
* Focus on guest satisfaction while managing the restaurant budget and addressing daily operational challenges.
* Lead with engaging and inspiring leadership, developing your team so they feel confident and prepared to help colleagues and guests.
* Monitor and improve performance through effective management, coaching individuals to be accountable for their own performance, and implementing wellbeing and morale initiatives.
* Support a culture that promotes wellbeing, motivation, and morale, with clear performance management strategies and team contribution toward those goals.
* Ensure financial awareness and accountability for financial delivery and business planning.
* Contribute to a positive guest experience and maintain high service standards with a focus on teamwork and efficiency.
Hours of Work
Working straight shifts, you will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. Please note, this is an evening-only restaurant. As our village is open 365 days a year, your working hours will include public/bank holidays and during Christmas and/or New Year on a rota basis.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
Essential requirements
* Proven track record in leading a team, including strong influencing skills
* Strong financial awareness – with responsibility for financial delivery and business planning
* A good level of computer literacy and analytical skills
* Previous experience in a large organisation with full management responsibility
* Experience in training and developing a team
* Have a motivational approach towards colleagues and work
* Empathetic and supportive approach to leading a team
* Able to coach individuals to be accountable for their own performance
