OUTSIDE IR35 – PROCUREMENT AND CONTRACT MANAGERS – Public procurement experience

Role Description
This is a contract role for a Procurement Manager – DEFENCE, needing SC Clearance, situated in the Greater Bristol Area with the flexibility to work from home occasionally. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing procurement activities, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and optimizing supply chain efficiency. Tasks include strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring.
Qualifications
* Proven skills in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, and Vendor Management
* Experience in Contract Negotiation and Strategic Sourcing
* Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving skills
* SC clearance is required due to the nature of this role
* Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
* Understanding of Compliance and Regulatory Requirements
* Familiarity with public and private sector procurement practices
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
* Relevant certifications (CIPS or equivalent) are a plus
