We are currently looking for a Marketing Manager (Maternity Cover) to join us at our facility in Wellingborough, UK. This is a +12 months contract, with either part-time or full-time options available.
The purpose of this role is:
1. To build a strategic promotional position with Key customers as the market leader in terms of promotional support and measurement.
2. To build customer specific and national campaigns to drive product sales / raise brand awareness and promote new products
3. Deal with sales team and key customers to build relationships and trust to ensure campaigns are as effective as possible.
Key responsibilities:
4. A rolling 12 month promotional calendar developed for UK market to support sales growth and new product introduction.
5. Ensure promotions are fully integrated across all required platforms (instore / print / email / web)
6. To deliver required activity for promotional campaigns e.g creative agency briefing, production of required collateral, liaison with customer to ensure correct in branch execution.
7. To manage UK marketing budget to deliver above activity.
8. To liaise with sales team to ensure all campaign messages include a strong sell out message/action for the end user targets
9. To liaise regularly with Supply Chain over planned promotional activity
10. To have regular contact with key account customer base to understand market dynamics and speed up delivery of activity
11. A monthly measurement and reporting system to gauge the success of campaigns created to be fed back to the Brand Director
Key requirements:
12. Interested in working in a +12 months contract (maternity cover), part-time or full-time options available.
13. 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
14. Experience in sales and promotional activities: proficiency in implementing effective sales and marketing processes. Commercial awareness regarding margin and campaign case development.
15. Highly organized in project management. Skills in communication development, including creative and media planning
16. Capable in marketing planning. Ability to manage agencies across various areas such as PR, advertising, graphic design, packaging, and digital.
17. Proficient in MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint. Analytical skills for performance tracking.
18. Fluent in English
