Overview
We are looking for an Office Administrator to provide an effective administration function for both VolkerSite Services and VolkerMarine Services business units, ensuring control of all agreed administration and documentation in a manner consistent with VolkerStevin Specialist Businesses processes and procedures.
Responsibilities
* Provide a complete administration function for the business.
* Maintain document control processes, ensuring appropriate capture and storage of soft and hard copy material, particularly to ensure all incoming and outgoing correspondence is logged, scanned and uploaded to the relevant systems.
* Ensure that paperwork is captured correctly and filtered through to all those necessary and according to the project management team\'s distribution lists.
* Provide support for maintenance and breakdowns to clients as necessary and record information into appropriate software.
* Deal with queries via phone and by email.
* Files and uploads completed documents for work activities on the relevant systems.
* Complete requisitions ensuring costs are allocated to cost codes and checked against tender allowances.
* Asset and hire agreement management with Hire desk including on hire/off hire process.
* Support management of assets for invoicing process.
* Assist other colleagues and be able to provide holiday/sickness cover for key doc control tasks.
Qualifications
* At least 4 GCSE\'s (or equivalent) including English
* At least 2 years\' experience in a similar role
