Driver Hire Newark and Grantham arecurrently recruiting for a B+E Driver to work with one of our fantastic clients based in Grantham. This is a great opportunity for a professional and reliable driver looking to join a well-established and supportive team.
Location: Grantham
Start Date: End of May
Pay Rate: Starting from £13 an hour with overtime paid daily on anything over 8.5hrs
Start Times: Between 05:00am and 08:00am
About the Role:
You’ll be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, often with a trailer attached to the van.
The role involves handling and delivering car batteries requiring a class 9 ADR.
Attention to detail and safety awareness are essential.
Job Requirements:
1. Valid B+E driving licence
2. Driver CPC and Digital Tacho Card
3. Comfortable and experienced towing a trailer
4. ADR (Class 9) qualification – essential for transporting dangerous goods
5. Minimum 6 months’ experience with all listed requirements
6. Right to work in the UK
