We have an exciting opportunity for a VP - Planning & Control to join the Portfolio Planning team. Investing in our people and our functional competency is critical to our future success in Planning & Control (P&C). P&C is responsible for managing the end-to-end (E2E) supply and demand processes, from Sales & Operational Planning, through demand planning, parts production and supply, warehouse storage and logistics, supply into engine build, and onward transportation and delivery of engines to our end customers.
As our customer demand continues to increase, we need to ensure that the team is 'match-fit' to enable Civil Aerospace to deliver. The key challenges in this role include ensuring full engagement of our people across grades, roles, business units, and key stakeholders; creating excitement around P&C development opportunities; and ensuring our people trust us to support their growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate across the Group P&C Leadership team to enable a unified approach to our P&C transformation.
* Lead the Planning & Control Central Function, defining and maintaining standard processes, policies, and operating rules, and supporting future improvements.
* Create the future vision of the P&C function through a strategic roadmap, benchmarking industry standards, and driving performance standards towards world-class capability.
* Support our people development by collaborating with HR to enhance competencies, deliver training, and uplift planning capabilities across the organization.
* Work closely with the SIOP team on the transformation roadmap, including operating rules, APS, Data, and MVPs.
* Act as a process owner for planning and control modules within our RRMS system (C5) and ERP systems, driving enhancements, standardization, and data integrity.
* Own planning KPIs and performance metrics, producing reports and insights for senior leadership to improve performance.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with Group and Civil Planning and Control Leadership.
* Lead transformation programs that enable higher performance through process and system improvements.
