What We’re All About
At Wish Photography, we’re passionate about creating timeless portraits that families will treasure for a lifetime. Based in the heart of Coventry, we specialise in newborn, family, children, and pet photography — and we believe every session should feel like an experience, not just a photoshoot.
We steer clear of the ordinary. Our mission is to craft something truly unique and personal for each client, delivering a photographic experience unlike anything they’ve had before.
The Role
A significant part of our shoots are newborn-focused, so a genuine love for making these sessions truly special is essential. You’ll also be trained in photographing older children, families, couples, and pets. Youll speak with families face to face and by phone, preparing them for the full Wish Photography Experience.
Alongside photography, you’ll take part in Viewings — where clients return to view and choose their images. We’re looking for someone confident, personable, and with a great eye for design. This isn’t about being salesy; it’s about guiding families with warmth and creativity to select artwork that resonates with their memories and looks beautiful in their home.
You’ll be an integral part of an ambitious and close-knit team, contributing to training, administration, and the day-to-day life of the studio.
What We’re Looking For
• Experience working with newborns and young children
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and outstanding verbal communication
• Vibrant personality — confident, enthusiastic, and naturally warm
• Well presented and personable, especially with people of all ages including young children
• A genuine passion for delivering an exceptional client experience, every single time
• Honest, empathetic, patient, and hardworking
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Must hold a valid DBS check, or be willing to obtain one prior to starting
• Ideally based within a reasonable commute of Coventry
How to Apply — and Stand Out
Full-time, salaried photography roles don’t come up every day — and when they do, we hear from a lot of people. So make your application count.
A quick Instagram link and a list of your gear won’t cut it. We want to see work that makes us stop and think: they really get it.
Please send us:
• A covering letter and CV showing how you meet our criteria
• Low-resolution portfolio images (max 10MB) or a link to your professional portfolio
We can only consider complete applications. Due to the volume of interest, we’re unable to respond to unsuccessful applicants.
