Health, Safety & Environment Business Partner Based inCarlton, Barnsley, S71 3HF -The home of Mr Kipling Salary - From £48,000 to £50,000 Permanent, Full time, Monday- Friday Shifts Available - Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00, Friday 08:30 - 16:00 Please apply by 29th August 2025 A permanent opportunity have become available at our Barnsley site for Health Safety & Environment Business Partner to join the team.You will be leading the sites HSE framework, providing insight and guidance to improve the behavioural safety culture at Carlton. The successful candidate wi ll: Support in the delivery of the sites HSE framework. Advise and support colleagues and teams across the business, acting as a subject matter expert and offering a valuable partnership. Work collaboratively with senior HSE professionals to make sure that the business is compliant with HSE regulations, challenging in a positive way when necessary to make sure we're getting positive outcomes. Work with our Operational Leads and Senior Leadership to make sure they meet our HSE Standards Engage with colleagues across all levels of the site to influence policies, frameworks, and any upcoming projects from an HSE perspective. Provide analytical information on trends, feedback and incidents to develop robust action plans. Facilitate engagement events to encourage a safety first culture. Support with ISO 14001 and 45001audits, customer, Sedex audits and legislative visits. Working with HSE representative to engage and obtain colleague feedback. Support on training and education across the site and support with competence building. Support with Business continuity plan and incident controller training. Deliver various elements of training and education to stakeholders at Carlton What we need from you: Hold an industry recognised professional health and safety qualification (A) Chartered membership of IOSH or actively working towards attaining Chartered Status (A) Experience of writing reports, policies, procedures and safe systems of work in an engaging style Experience of using and implementing project management techniques Experience of providing guidance/advice and addressing workplace concerns within an organisation at all levels Experience of undertaking risk assessments. Experience of developing, delivering and evaluating health and safety training. Excellent IT Skills in a Microsoft Windows Environment (applications include, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, with the ability to use and interrogate databases. Able to work collaboratively and build relationships.
