Home Care Assistant – Based in Peterborough
Pay & Hours
Pay rate: £12.71 per hour + mileage allowance £0.30 per mile and travel time paid at £12.71 per hour. Hours available: Monday – Sunday, 16:00 – 22:00. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required.
About the Role
As a Home Care Assistant you’ll support individuals in Peterborough to live independently in the comfort of their own homes. Every visit is an opportunity to make someone’s day brighter and yours more fulfilling.
Responsibilities
* Assisting with personal care routines (washing, dressing, toileting)
* Supporting medication and meal preparation
* Helping with light domestic tasks and grocery needs
* Providing companionship and emotional support
Qualifications & Requirements
* Passionate about helping others and committed to delivering high-quality care and support
* A reliable and honest team player with a positive attitude
* Strong communication skills both verbal and written
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills
* No experience necessary – we have hired people from hospitality, retail and customer service backgrounds
* Right to work in the UK; individuals requiring a Tier 2 sponsorship certificate are not eligible
* Subject to an enhanced DBS check and reference verification
