Pay & Hours
Competitive pay of £30,000 to £34,000 depending on experience; part‑time salaries are pro‑rata. Full‑time shop managers work a 42‑hour week, with flexible scheduling options such as 9:00 am–3:00 pm available to accommodate your needs.

* Experienced retail manager to oversee daily shop operations.
* Strong focus on driving sales, maximizing profits and controlling costs.
* Leadership skills to train, motivate and develop a team with a hands‑on approach.
* Confidence, enthusiasm, strong work ethic and positive attitude.
* Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and collaborate as part of a team.
* Adaptability and problem‑solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Successfully manage day‑to‑day shop operations.
* Grow the business through increased sales, controlled costs and profitable growth.
* Achieve KPIs including wage percentage, average sale, stock, wastage, and energy targets.
* Lead, train and develop the team to high standards.
* Performance manage the team as required.
* Ensure sandwich and food production standards are met.
* Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming shop environment.
* Adhere to the highest levels of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety standards.
* Deliver outstanding customer service.
* Recruit new team members when required.
* Receive and check daily deliveries.
* Manage shop stock and produce.
* Maintain shop displays.
* Apply excellent knowledge of products.
* Handle cash, tills and banking operations.
* Open or close the shop when required.
