As a Supply Chain Manager at Albert Bartlett, you will oversee the entire supply chain process, from sourcing raw materials to final distribution. You’ll be responsible for optimising logistics, improving inventory management, and strengthening supplier relationships. Responsibilities: Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals to ensure timely product delivery. Oversee procurement, logistics, and inventory management to maximise cost-effectiveness and efficiency. Collaborate with production and sales teams to forecast demand and plan inventory accordingly. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure quality and reliability. Monitor supply chain performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management. Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards across all supply chain activities. Requirements Proven experience in supply chain management, ideally within the food industry or consumer goods sector. Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing supplier and vendor relationships. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process optimisation. Proficient in supply chain software and tools for inventory and logistics management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
