Role

Fife Women’s Aid is looking for full-time staff to join our MARAC team, supporting women experiencing domestic abuse at high risk.

Applicants should have at least 2 years’ experience in a support or advocacy role, with direct, person-centred support experience and an understanding of domestic abuse causes and impacts. The team is small but supportive, with training provided.

Applicants need SVQ Level III or equivalent in social care or relevant fields, or be willing to work towards it.

Housing First Support Worker

Fife Women’s Aid is recruiting a part-time support worker for Housing First, providing flexible support to women in their own homes, focusing on harm reduction and tenancy sustainment, aligned with Housing First principles.

Applicants should have good communication skills, a passion for supporting recovery, and SVQ Level III or equivalent, or be willing to attain it. The role requires motivation and the ability to work independently and in teams.

Group Support Worker

We are also recruiting a part-time group support worker with experience in delivering group work within social care settings, to develop and facilitate our support programs for women who have experienced domestic abuse.

Requirements include SVQ Level III or equivalent, motivation, and teamwork skills. Join our info session on 6.30pm on Monday 16th June.

Fife Women’s Aid’s mission is to support women affected by domestic abuse, with a focus on empowerment and community support.


Justice Advocacy and Support Worker

Are you passionate about supporting survivors of sexual violence? We seek a compassionate professional experienced in trauma-informed support to join Glasgow and Clyde Rape Crisis Centre.

The role involves advocacy, emotional and practical support, and working with women and girls from ethnic minority communities. A PVG check is required. Only women can apply under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
