Your Role

As a
Junior Environment Impact Analyst

, you will be at the heart of our mission to provide the world's most sophisticated data on the social and environmental performance of every company and investment fund. You will help develop evidence-based methodologies that quantify the contribution of transformative solutions to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Working in close collaboration with our clients, engineering, and sales teams, you will ensure that our data is not only academically rigorous but also financially material and ready for the next generation of global capital markets.

This position allows you to gain deep expertise across diverse social impact themes—such as Climate change, Energy, Circular Economy, Biodiversity, and Water —while helping to build the data and insights that aim to make sustainable investing effortless for all.

What you will be responsible for

* Company Impact Analysis:

Perform detailed company-level research to assess contributions to the SDGs, evaluating both financial and impact materiality;
- Impact Quantification:

Apply Net Purpose methodologies to quantify the positive social outcomes of transformative products and services;
- Knowledge Development:

Build and maintain our knowledge base on high-impact technologies and solutions, specifically those that contribute to environmental SDG goals and targets;
- Data Integrity:

Execute rigorous data quality assurance and regular data updates to ensure our impact database remains accurate and reliable;
- Methodology support:

Support the maintenance of the Net Purpose data dictionary and taxonomy of high-impact activities to ensure we remain the gold standard for sustainable data;
- Client & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with the Sales and Product teams to translate complex findings into clear, simple conclusions for investment managers;
- Ad-hoc Support:

Assist senior analysts with ad-hoc research and pilot projects.

About You

You are passionate about making your work meaningful for more investors.

You are highly structured, results-oriented, and have an ability to translate complex findings into simple conclusions. You welcome conversations with investment managers, companies and scientists, and take pleasure in bridging these gaps. You know what it takes to stay on top of the latest insights into sustainable investments, how it is measured and how it is put into practice by investors. You are passionate about this shift in capitalism and trend towards sustainable and impact investing, and helping our clients measure "net purpose" as effortlessly as "net profit."

Qualifications Required

* Academic Background:

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree. A background in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, Data Analytics, Supply Chain or related fields is highly valued;
- Research & Analysis:

Excellent research and analytical skills, with a proven ability to conduct literature searches and convey technical information clearly;
- Domain Interest:

A strong interest in social impact themes (e.g., financial inclusion, healthcare, education) and the SDG framework;
- EU Taxonomy Expertise:

Experience working with or a strong understanding of the EU Taxonomy framework is highly valued;
- Data Proficiency:

Advanced experience using Excel for data analysis and quality assurance;
- Effective Communication:

Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in both written and oral forms. You are comfortable presenting your ideas to the team and joining client calls to explain our research and methodologies;
- Team Player:

A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative;
- Location:

Candidates located in London are preferred, outstanding candidates residing in other locations will be considered.
