Job Summary
Solenis are recruiting for an Apprentice Safety, Health & Environmental Technician. An Apprentice Safety, Health & Environmental Technician at Solenis helps support the site’s safety, health, and environmental standards while learning on the job.
Solenis is a leading global producer of specialty chemicals for water-intensive industries, including the pulp, paper, oil and gas, chemical processing, mining, biorefining, power and municipal markets.
This role is based at: Cleckheaton Road, Low Moor, Bradford, BD12 0JZ.

Main Responsibilities
• Help develop and check safe working practices, including supporting safety audits.
• Assist with investigating accidents and incidents to find causes and prevent future issues.
• Track and report health and safety performance, and support improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and deliver safety talks and training to raise awareness.
• Take part in quarterly Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) committee meetings.
Essential Skills
• Five GCSEs at grade 4–9 (or equivalent), including Maths, English and a Science subject.
• Good IT skills, clear communication, and a safe, methodical approach to work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and driven to succeed.
