Baker Ross are currently recruiting for caring, resilient and dedicated Children's Residential Support Workers to join one of our clients Residential homes. You will play a vital role in supporting children with a range of complex needs including autism, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioural challenges and mental health difficulties. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality, consistent care tailored to each child's individual care plan Build safe, trusting relationships and encourage emotional development and independence Support daily routines including meals, education, some personal care, leisure and bedtime Use positive behaviour support and trauma-informed approaches to de-escalate challenging situations Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning and review meetings Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and external agencies What our client is looking for Experience working with children or young people (care, education, or healthcare settings) Compassionate, patient and emotionally resilient Understanding of autism, learning disabilities and trauma-informed care (training provided if needed) Strong communication and teamworking skills NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Residential Childcare Join our client Be part of a service that puts children first and supports them to achieve their fullest potential in a safe, stable and loving environment.
