What you'll be doing Working as a core team member with colleagues across the country on large inter-disciplinary and national residential portfolio transactions of varying sizes for registered providers, for profit registered providers, institutions, local authorities, investors and in that context the role will encompass: • Assisting with the application of the firm's AI products to enhance the delivery of our service in this area; • Liaising with clients, agents and counterparts on transactions including representing the team on regular project management meetings; • Liaising with transactional colleagues to draft appropriate contract provisions including conditionality arising from due diligence; • Preparing reports and drafting emails of advice to clients on the implications on the due diligence exercise outcomes and proposing solutions; • Assisting with project management and task delegation including the supervision of other team members; • Liaising with our professional support team and carrying out legal research. Working as a lead solicitor on significant property charging and securitisation transactions for registered providers and for profit registered providers to raise funds for their significant development, maintenance and acquisition programmes and in that context the role will encompass: • Day to day management of transactions including direct client contact; • Working closely with both national portfolio team and banking and finance colleagues to coordinate transactions; • Reviewing initial due diligence information received, including searches results and title information; • Project management including delegation of tasks and supervision of colleagues to ensure project timescales are met; • Liaising with the Trowers innovation team to ensure the effective application of Trowers Evolve tools for both transactions and the practice area; • Providing due diligence support to national colleagues for merger transactions, development and regeneration schemes and advising in relation to valuation implications of mortgagee exclusion clauses; • Building and maintaining effective client relationships including participation in marketing initiatives; • Comply with core competencies as appropriate to the fee earner level of qualification; • Participating in firm-wide and departmental training sessions; • Ensuring files are managed in compliance with Lexcel procedures.
