Join to apply for the 225175 R1 CAMHS Nurse Specialist (EG) role at NHS Lothian.
Note: This post is in the CAMHS East Lothian outpatient team, a tier 3 service providing assessment and clinical interventions for young people experiencing a range of mental health difficulties. The postholder will work as part of a skilled and collaborative multi-disciplinary team and manage a caseload of young people, delivering core interventions using a range of mental health skills for behavioural, cognitive, dynamic and systemic interventions depending on level of training and experience.
The successful applicant will have experience of working in a mental health service with young people and their families/carers. Additional training and experience in specific therapies such as CBT or family-based therapies would be an advantage.
East Lothian CAMHS is based in Musselburgh in a large and modern centrally located building close to local amenities and transport links. The team of about 30 staff are friendly and supportive.
