A well-regarded and growing accountancy practice based in Malton is currently recruiting for an Accounts Senior to join their team on a permanent basis. As an Accounts Senior, you will be:
* Preparing and reviewing statutory and management accounts for a varied portfolio of clients
* Producing VAT returns and assisting with bookkeeping tasks when required
* Acting as a key point of contact for clients, offering advice and resolving queries
* Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues
* Collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless client experience
* Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards
To be successful in this Accounts Senior role, you will ideally have/be:
* ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience in a practice environment
* Comfortable managing a portfolio of clients including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
* Familiar with cloud-based software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
* A proactive and organised individual with excellent communication skills
* Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines effectively
