Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Operative to join our community hub team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation's core operations and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out all aspects of repair and maintenance work within the region/services assigned.
* Repair services to include plumbing, carpentry, fixing broken furniture/walls, gardening and oversee other works requiring attention. Gardening scope to be identified by the Deputy Estates Manager.
* Ensure that working areas are left clean and tidy.
* Undertake basic administration tasks related to this work and support fellow team members and the role of the Coordinator as team leader.
* Utilise the maintenance portal for all works undertaken, ensuring it is kept up to date and provide constructive feedback to the Coordinator.
* Promote high standards in the environment for people we support through professional practice and a respectful approach when working in people's homes.
Requirements
* A full (clean) driving licence and access to a car
* Willingness to travel. Prepared to work unsociable hours and travel to other regions if required
