Key Responsibilities: Support class teachers in delivering high-quality learning experiences. Work with small groups and individual pupils to boost attainment, particularly in English and Maths. Assist with the preparation and delivery of interventions. Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing. Contribute to the wider life of the school, including trips, events, and enrichment activities. Maintain accurate records and contribute to pupil progress reviews. You're a Perfect Fit If You Have: Have a sound understanding of the relative curriculum knowledge and experience of working in Key Stage 1 or be willing to learn. Be enthusiastic, highly motivated, enjoy working with young children and be passionate about making a positive difference to children’s lives. Be creative and committed to making learning interesting and fun! Inspire trust, instil confidence, and embrace challenges, to raise pupil expectation and attainment. Be able to work as part of a successful, hard-working, dedicated team. Have had experience of shared planning and assessment to enable the interpretation of data to support target setting and pupiltracking or be willing to learn. Have a good sense of humour. Be prepared to support children’s care. Qualifications and Experience: A relevant qualification (such as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor qualification) is desirable. A good general standard of education including GCSE English and Maths to Grade C or equivalent. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is essential.
