Overview
The purpose of this role is to support our Rehab and Recovery Unit and provide person-centred care and support for our service users.
Responsibilities
* Work within the Rehab and Recovery Unit and provide person-centred care and support for the service users within this unit.
* Communicate the needs of service users to management and maintain good relations between service users, staff, and visitors to the unit.
* Enable the service users in the unit to maintain or regain their independence, individuality, and dignity.
Qualifications
* NVQ 2 in Social Care or working towards.
* An understanding of Safe manual handling techniques.
* Knowledge of Safeguarding Adults.
* A minimum of two years\' experience of working with older adults and an understanding of their differing complex care needs.
