Temporary School ReceptionistMiddlesbroughASAP Start Date Temporary assignment until end of May 20268:00am - 4:00pm (non-negotiable)Enhanced DBS on the update service is essential for this vacancyWe are seeking an experienced, organised, and confident School Receptionist to join a welcoming and busy school office in Middlesbrough.This is an immediate-start temporary position running until the end of May 2026.As the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school's front officeKey Responsibilities
* Greeting visitors, parents, and pupils in a friendly and professional manner
* Managing incoming calls and emails
* Supporting general administrative tasks within the school office
* Maintaining accurate records and filing systems
* Handling queries and signposting to relevant members of staff
* Ensuring safeguarding and visitor procedures are followed at all times
About You
* Previous experience in a school office or busy reception environment is desirable
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Confident using IT systems and following school procedures
* Reliable, professional, and able to commit to the fixed working hours
This role is full-time, 8am-4pm, and the hours cannot be adjusted. The successful candidate must be fully available to start as soon as possible with an enhanced DBS registered to the update service
