The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Legal Assistant to join a dynamic document production team supporting the Commercial Property and Agriculture departments. Working collaboratively with fellow Senior Legal Assistants, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality legal support services whilst providing essential cover across the team.
The successful candidate will work alongside a dedicated document production team utilising various technologies including digital dictation, voice recognition software, and traditional transcription methods. Client interaction is a key component of this role, requiring the ability to handle initial enquiries professionally and maintain current knowledge of relevant legal matters.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute all typing and word-processing tasks accurately and to strict deadlines • Provide comprehensive support to the Commercial Property department whilst maintaining flexibility to assist across all practice areas • Maintain absolute confidentiality standards for both client and firm information • Transcribe information from various sources including manual documents and audio recordings • Offer support to other office locations when capacity permits • Handle incoming telephone calls professionally and relay messages promptly • Coordinate appointment scheduling as required • Prioritise workload effectively using oldest/most urgent methodology • Maintain accurate records within the firm's case management systems • Collaborate effectively as part of a cohesive team environment

Essential Requirements:
• Secretarial qualification, equivalent professional experience, or Law degree • Comprehensive understanding of confidentiality and Data Protection principles • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications • Exceptional communication skills across all mediums • Proven ability to perform under pressure whilst meeting tight deadlines • Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail • Professional telephone manner and client service skills • Accuracy and efficiency in all work outputs • Minimum typing speed of 50 WPM
Highly Desirable:
• Understanding of Commercial Property legal processes • Experience with legal case management systems • Broad knowledge across multiple legal disciplines • Previous exposure to agriculture-related legal work
