Sacco Mann is recruiting on behalf of an esteemed client for a Commercial Solicitor with around 2‑6 years PQE. This opportunity is based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, with the flexibility of hybrid working. The role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary and internationally renowned legal team, specialising in strategic commercial contracts. You will advise a diverse range of clients, both private and public sector, across various industries such as transport, utilities, and industrial engineering. The successful candidate will handle a wide spectrum of matters, from day‑to‑day contractual issues to high‑value multinational projects, contributing to and supporting the firm’s continued growth and client service excellence.
About you
* 2‑6 years PQE in commercial law, with a solid foundation in various types of contracts.
* Strong technical and drafting skills, with attention to detail.
* The firm is open‑minded as to your background - you might be a private practice lawyer, or working in‑house, and keen to make the transition to practice. The team is also very happy to consider applicants working for smaller law firms, who would like to progress their career with an international practice.
* Good understanding of legal, commercial, and operational issues impacting clients’ contracts.
* Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines while managing multiple matters.
* Effective communicator with the ability to build lasting client and internal relationships across sectors.
* A proactive team player with a client‑focused approach and business development skills.
* The role could be recruited at either Associate or Senior Associate level. For more senior applicants, the firm will ideally be looking for the ability to coach, supervise, and mentor junior colleagues, and participate actively in business development activities.
