CLASS TEACHER

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher to teach in Reception or KS1, who shares our vision for delivering an exciting curriculum, from September 2026.
We are seeking someone with high expectations, excellent subject knowledge and the ability to inspire children to achieve their best.
Ridgeway Primary Academy has an excellent reputation and provides a lively and creative environment in which to work. We gained 'Good' in our most recent Ofsted inspection. Ridgeway Primary School joined Primitas Learning Partnership on 1st June 2022. The Primitas Learning Partnership is a cross phase MAT serving the local area which opened in September 2021. Currently there are seven schools within the partnership: two high Schools, four Primary schools and a special school. The Trust provides opportunities for the schools to work collaboratively to support school improvement.
Ridgeway is a successful 2 form entry primary school in Chasetown. We currently have 415 pupils on roll in the main school and a further 200 children accessing Early Years provision in our term time Ridgeway Rainbow Tots twos group and Sunbeams Nursery and in our Sunny Days Nursery, which is open all year.
School received a further 'Good' rating from OFSTED at our last inspection in December 2024 and Sunny Days in July 2024.
We are looking for someone who:
Has a drive to be outstanding with high expectations of pupils' achievements, attainment and behaviour
Is an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills Is brimming with ideas and enthusiasm and has excellent subject knowledge of the KS1 primary national curriculum or the EYFS curriculum
Is a hardworking and dedicated practitioner; able to motivate and inspire pupils and staff who has a commitment to their own personal and professional development
Is willing to contribute to the life of the school and its community and to go over and above to make great things happen for our children

Salary: Teachers Main scale £32,916 - £45,350 per annum
Contract: Fixed Term until July 2027 (may be extended beyond this)
