We are looking for SEN Teachers at our brand new Elm Fields campus, a development of Ash Meadow School, Sutton Manor, St Helens
The School is an independent specialist school based in Sutton Manor, St Helens, focused on providing child-centred, individualised education for students with Autism and sensory processing disorders in a safe and calm environment.
Due to expansion, Bright Futures is seeking SEN Teachers to join Ash Meadow School. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence the future of our students, supporting young people with autism, moderate to severe learning difficulties, and complex needs.
Main responsibilities
* Accountable for curriculum standards in specific subjects across the school
* Lead, manage, and develop a class group
* Exercise professional judgment and skills
* Impact educational progress of pupils in their class
* Lead and develop classroom practice of staff and assistants

Person Specification: SEN Teacher
Qualifications
Degree or equivalent in education, curriculum, or teaching; QTS/QTLS; Evidence of professional development
Experience
Experience with students with complex needs is desirable but not essential; training provided through induction
Knowledge and Understanding
Understanding of current research and effective implementation; ability to analyze student data; self-awareness; alignment with our principles and values, particularly 'Awakening Potential'
Additional Details
Starting salary from £34,992 (including £2539 SEND allowance). Hours: 8:30-16:00/17:00 depending on responsibilities. Contract: Full-time. Reporting to: Headteacher. Responsible for: Teaching a class and curriculum leadership.
