Time Appointments is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Insurance Company based in Chelmsford for the position of Underwriting Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an award-winning business that offers a competitive salary and excellent career prospects.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Processing in-depth mid-term adjustments, renewals, and new business, and issuing all relevant documentation.
2. Preparing and issuing claims listings.
3. Liaising with brokers and other departments within the company.
4. Assisting trainees and apprentices with processing.
Skills and Experience required:
* Minimum 1 year experience in an underwriting support role or similar insurance position.
* Experience in processing mid-term adjustments, basic adjustments, and renewals.
* Strong understanding of the insurance industry.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Professional, articulate, and detail-oriented.
* Educated to A Level standard or equivalent.
