Contracts Manager – Drywall
Location: Essex
Salary: Competitive + package (negotiable depending on experience)
A well-established commercial interiors contractor with over 40 years’ experience is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple interior fit-out and finishing packages across East Anglia.
The business delivers a range of internal construction packages including suspended ceilings, dry lining, glass partitions and acoustic solutions, often as part of full commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
The Role:
You will be responsible for managing several projects simultaneously, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and within budget while maintaining strong relationships with main contractors and site teams.
Key responsibilities:
* Oversee multiple interior fit-out projects from pre-start through to completion
* Manage site teams, subcontractors and programme delivery
* Liaise with Tier 1 main contractors, clients and consultants
* Monitor project costs, variations and commercial performance
* Ensure health & safety and quality standards are maintained across all sites
* Support the estimating and pre-construction teams where required
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager within the interiors or drylining sector
* Strong background in packages such as ceilings, partitions, drylining or commercial fit-out
* Ability to manage multiple projects and site teams
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid preferred
