The Wellbeing and Activities Assistant role at Avery Healthcare is focused on supporting the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being. The role involves maintaining a safe living and working environment, reporting changes in residents' conditions, and supporting the preparation of activities.


Main duties of the job

As Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, your focus will be to support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing activities that promote residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being. Other responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment, contributing to the positive image of the home, reporting changes in residents' physical or emotional conditions, and assisting with supplies for activities.

Shift Details: 2 days 9.30 am - 5.30 pm, 1 day 9.30 am - 6.00 pm, 1 day 11.30 am - 8.00 pm, and 1 weekend in three

About the role

As Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, your main focus will be to support the Wellbeing Coordinator in delivering engaging activities for residents' well-being.

Additional responsibilities include:

* Maintaining a safe environment and supporting the home's professional image.
* Reporting any changes in residents' physical or emotional conditions to relevant staff.
* Assisting with ordering and preparing supplies for activities.
* Establishing links with the local community to promote intergenerational activities and community access.


About you

Additional requirements

This role requires a DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare) and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
