An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a brand-new, state-of-the-art nursing home in Newcastle as a Clinical Deputy Home Manager. Working closely with the Home Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing daily clinical operations, leading and developing the nursing team, and embedding a culture of compassionate, person-centred care. Key Responsibilities
* Support the Home Manager in the overall clinical leadership and day-to-day management of the service
* Ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and effective person-centred care in line with CQC standards and best practice guidelines
* Lead, mentor, and supervise the nursing and care teams, promoting professional development and clinical excellence
* Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality
* Drive quality improvement initiatives, audits, and governance processes to continuously enhance care standards
* Investigate incidents, implement corrective actions, and promote a strong culture of safety and accountability
* Work collaboratively with residents, families, external healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care delivery
* Support staff training, competency assessments, and performance management
About You
* Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with a valid NMC pin
* Proven experience in a clinical leadership or deputy management role within a nursing home or similar healthcare setting
* Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, clinical governance, and safeguarding practices
* Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing clinical teams
* Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and compliance
* Calm, professional, and proactive approach to managing complex situations
* Passionate about delivering exceptional, person-centred care
