To grow our geotechnical team, we are looking for a Senior Engineer to join us. Working on a range of design projects, you’ll take a leading role in delivering our projects in your field.
Your key responsibilities will be:
* Supporting the management of risk on the project by participating in inter-discipline reviews and close-out review findings
* Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior team members
* Overseeing the production and delivery of geotechnical calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports in line with the project programme
* Checking and reviewing reports and calculations
* Collaborating with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design solution
* Ensuring quality, safety, and environmental standards are maintained through the use of the Integrated Management System
* Participating in the resolution of technical issues

The first step to success in this role is your eagerness to collaborate with colleagues, partners, or customers. Developing strong relationships through respect and delivering on promises is key. You should also be open to exploring new insights and ways to improve.
Additionally, you will have:
* A master's degree (MSc, MEng) in Civil Engineering
* Chartered status
* Significant geotechnical expertise and experience
* Experience working in a design environment, with some site experience preferred
* Proficiency with geotechnical software, including Geo Studio suite (Slope/W, Seep/W) and Plaxis
* Experience in planning, supervising, and designing project elements, applying current standards and best practices
* Well-rounded geotechnical design experience
* Ability to evaluate and interpret ground investigation data effectively
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, across all levels and with external stakeholders, including report writing
