Position
1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant – Chafford Hundred, Thurrock. Full time, immediate start, long term.
Responsibilities
* Work one-to-one with a pupil to support learning, behaviour, and social development throughout the school day.
* Provide academic and emotional support to a child with Autism (ASC) and ADHD.
* Implement behaviour strategies, encourage engagement, and adapt learning materials with the class teacher and SENCO.
* Deliver structured support tailored to the child's individual needs.
* Provide personal care where required.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant supporting pupils with additional needs.
* Experience working with children with Autism and ADHD.
* Ability to provide both academic and emotional support in a 1:1 setting.
