Key Responsibilities of an SEN Intervention Teaching Assistant
* Targeted Intervention: Deliver one-to-one or small group support tailored to the students' specific needs – whether they are related to learning, social development, or behaviour.Lesson Adaptation: Assist in planning and delivering lessons or activities that are accessible, engaging, and adapted to each student's individual learning style and pace.Monitoring & Feedback: Track students' progress and regularly share observations with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure effective support is in place.Emotional Support: Create a safe, nurturing environment that encourages emotional resilience, confidence, and independence.Collaborative Support: Work as part of a wider team – including teaching staff, SENCO, and parents – to implement consistent strategies that promote development and inclusion.

Location: Slough
Schedule: Full time - Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm
