Interim FP&A Analyst | Fast-Growth Fintech | London
Harmonic is excited to be working exclusively with one of the UK’s fastest-scaling and most innovative fintech businesses in their search for an Interim FP&A Analyst. This is a 6-month contract position, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders at a pivotal stage of growth following a successful fundraising round.

With headquarters in Central London, the company provides cutting-edge digital finance solutions that are reshaping the way businesses and consumers interact with payments and embedded financial services. The Role:
Reporting into the VP of Finance, this role will be crucial in shaping financial planning processes, improving forecasting accuracy, and delivering insightful commercial analysis to support strategic decisions. The Interim FP&A Analyst will also contribute to board-level reporting and help ensure the efficient deployment of capital following the recent fundraise.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role with exposure across the entire business.
Duties:
* Leading budgeting and forecasting cycles across multiple business units
* Producing monthly performance packs and variance analysis for senior stakeholders
* Developing and enhancing complex financial models to support strategic planning
* Providing scenario and sensitivity analysis for new initiatives and investment decisions
* Partnering with Commercial, Product, and Operations teams to align financial goals
* Supporting board and investor reporting with data-driven insights
* Assisting in the optimisation of planning tools and reporting processes
What we need to see (essential):
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or qualified by experience
* Proven experience in FP&A roles within high-growth tech or fintech environments
* Advanced Excel / Google Sheets modelling skills
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to challenge and influence decision-makers
What we’d like to see (beneficial):
* Prior experience in PE/VC-backed environments
* Familiarity with SaaS or embedded finance models
* Experience using NetSuite and Power BI, or similar tools
Day Rate: £350 – £450 per day (outside IR35)
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Central London (3 days in office / 2 days WFH)
