About the Role
As aRoomLead, EarlyYearsEducator, you’ll use your creativeflareandorganisationskillsto support your team to deliver a brilliant programme offun, inclusive, learningactivities for the children around theirinterestsandcareneeds.
Drawing uponyourknowledgeof the Foundation Stage curriculum to develop theskills of the team within your room. You’ll encourage the use of ourfantasticoutdoorspacesto benefit the children by experiencingdifferentenvironmentsand developing their sense of the world and themselves.
Theworking dayisextremelyrewardingand involves both child and adult led learning opportunities with the children. Examples of these activities including sharingstories, dressingup, ‘messyplay’, games, and above all, instilling a sense offun!
Key duties:
5. Bepartoftheteam that creates a nurturingenvironmentand delivers highstandards of care and education
6. Plan, implement, and evaluate activities tosupport the care anddevelopment of childrenattending our nursery
7. Regularly update records regarding children’sprogress and care, feeding back to parents/carers
8. Encouragebest practices and thedevelopment of staff knowledge and skills
9. Ensuresafeguarding standards are maintained
10. Supporttoall other ChildcareServicesprovision as required
About you
We’dlovetohear fromexperienced, organised, andpassionatequalified Early Years Educators, looking to progress or already in aRoomLeadrole.
You’re great with people of allages but especially the children in your care, helping them to develop and grow through funandplay. Professionaldevelopment is something you are keen to pursue as well as supporting your colleagues develop their skills.
ADBScheckwill berequired, we’llcoverthecostsnowand forrenewalsin thefuture.
Working hours per week. : - : across 4 days per week (Monday to Friday). We welcome applicants looking to work full days on either a full or part-time basis.
