Job Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the children's residential service. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and quality standards. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of care staff to deliver high-quality care. Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to the needs of each child. Maintain effective communication with children, families, and external agencies. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care practices and make improvements as necessary. Manage budgets and resources efficiently to ensure the sustainability of the service. Promote a positive and inclusive environment that encourages personal growth and development. Required Skills & Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent. Proven experience in a managerial role within a children's residential setting. Strong understanding of child development and safeguarding practices. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Strong organisational and time management skills. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in children's care.
