This is not a typical recruitment role.
This is a full-time, employed position within Vested Recruitment & Executive Search Ltd, offering a clear and accelerated pathway into an Associate Director role and shareholding in the business.
Founded by an experienced CEO who has spent over 25 years on the client side of recruitment, leading business with revenues exceeding £600m. Vested has been built from the ground up. Our model is simple: we only succeed when our placements succeed. Fees are aligned to outcomes, not invoices. That changes behaviour, accountability, and ultimately, results.
We are now building the founding team.
We are looking for experienced recruitment professionals who want more than a desk. This is an opportunity to build, lead and ultimately run a business unit within a high-growth, disruptive agency.
The opportunity
You will join Vested at an early stage, working directly with the founder to establish and grow one of our core specialist desks.
This is a role with a clearly defined trajectory:
Within 6–9 months, successful consultants will transition into an Associate Director position
You will take ownership and lead your own business unit within Vested
You will build and lead your own team
You will play a direct role in shaping the direction and culture of the business
Progression is not time-based. It is performance-based. As soon as you are self-sufficient and generating consistent revenue, we build around you.
Associate Directors at Vested are not just senior employees. They become shareholders, with a vested interest in the long-term success of the business.

Who we are looking for
This role will suit individuals who already operate at a high level and are ready for the next step.
You will bring:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in permanent recruitment.
A track record of consistent billings and client development.
An established personal brand or network that you can leverage.
A commercial mindset, you understand what it takes to build revenue.
The ambition to lead, not just deliver.
Just as importantly, you will think differently.
You are not just looking for yet another commission structure.
You are looking for ownership, accountability, and the opportunity to build something of your own within a structured, employed environment.
You are comfortable operating in a start-up environment where traction matters more than talk.
What you will do:
Develop and grow your own specialist desk within one of our core sectors.
Build and manage client relationships at a senior level.
Own the full 360 recruitment lifecycle, supported by a dedicated back-office function.
Contribute to the growth and direction of the wider business.
Transition into a leadership role as your desk scales.
