We are specifically looking for a Civil Project Engineer to join our operations team in Perth who have experience with the following:
* Trenches
* Shafts
* Concrete structures
* Civil structures
* Infrastructure
* Water, wastewater and stormwater Pipeline construction
About the role:
* Coordinating and administering construction engineering activities
* Ensuring projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs and specifications
* Assisting the Construction Manager and Site Supervisor to develop daily programmes
* Ensuring compliance with client requirements and company policies and procedures
* Procuring required materials and equipment for the project
* Monitoring construction progress to ensure quality specifications are adhered to
* Assisting with contractual claims (variations, extensions of time)
* Contributing to monthly project reporting
The successful applicant must have the following skills and experience:
* Experience working with a blue‑collar work force
* Experience delivering construction projects
* Exposure to preparation of contractual claims and variations
* Ideally micro‑tunneling experience (but not essential)
* Bachelor of Engineering or its equivalent
* Experience working on water and/or wastewater projects
* Strong leadership skills
* Demonstrable experience leading and managing safety and environment controls; and
* Strong written and oral communication skills with experience compiling reports and liaising with stakeholders.
* Knowledge of head and subcontract agreements
