Role Overview As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will assist students with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties to engage positively in education. Your work will play a vital part in helping students overcome barriers, improve their confidence, and reach their full potential in a safe and supportive setting. Role Responsibilities Provide targeted support to pupils with behavioural challenges on a 1:1 or small group basis. Implement tailored strategies and behaviour support plans. Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation. Collaborate with teaching and SEN staff to support pupil progress. Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment. Candidate Requirements Experience working with children or young people with SEN or SEMH needs. A calm and resilient nature with strong communication skills. Ability to build trust and form positive relationships with pupils. A proactive attitude towards learning support and behaviour management. An up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
