Job overview
We are looking to recruit a passionate and compassionate Pathway Lead for our Autism and ADHD service. If you are keen to make a difference in the lives of neurodiverse people then this is an exciting opportunity for you.
We are an innovative service dedicated to providing streamlined assessment and support for neurodiverse people. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality care through a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach. As the Pathway Lead for Autism & ADHD, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading our diagnostic pathways and the support available to young people and their families along the process.
Main duties of the job
You will:
1. Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Autism & ADHD pathway.
2. Work closely with a diverse team of professionals, including paediatricians, psychologists, therapists, and educators, to ensure a holistic approach to care.
3. Drive the development and implementation of innovative practices and procedures.
4. Manage the Autism & ADHD pathway, ensuring effective service delivery.
5. Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in Autism and ADHD.
6. Provide training and support to staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
7. Engage with stakeholders, including families, schools, and healthcare providers, to promote integrated care.

Starting with Us
NELFT places great importance on new starters being properly welcomed into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks, including mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process, new starters will also have the opportunity to meet the executive team, senior managers, and attend several drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing, and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Goodmaynes, Essex.
High Cost Area Supplement - Fringe
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £1,192 to a maximum of £2,011 pro rata for part time).
