About the Role Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor – Stock Control, you’ll play a key role in ensuring all deliveries and customer returns are processed accurately, efficiently, and in line with company procedures and food safety standards. You’ll help maintain exceptional stock quality while supporting warehouse operations and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, BRC standards, and customer expectations. Booking in and rejecting deliveries, including food and non-food products Checking deliveries for temperature, shelf life, quality, and physical condition Completing all in-house quality and compliance records accurately Working closely with the Purchasing Department to ensure stock is correctly received, rotated, labelled, and stored Reporting shortages, damaged goods, short-dated stock, or temperature issues Helping maintain clean, tidy, and organised chill and ambient storage areas Supporting company compliance with food safety, hygiene, GMP, and quality standards Assisting other warehouse operations when required, including picking duties or occasional local deliveries What We’re Looking For Strong attention to detail and organisational skills A proactive and reliable approach to work Ability to work effectively as part of a team Commitment to maintaining high hygiene and safety standards Good communication skills and confidence reporting issues when identified Warehouse or stock control experience is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided Why Join Us?
