Production Manager – Food Manufacturing
£55,000 - £58,000 + Bonus + Private Medical + Company Pension

Are you a Production or Operations Manager from a Food Manufacturing background with a transformational approach to leadership and looking for an opportunity to leave your mark on an expanding site with a global business?
This international Food Manufacturer has over 5000 employees across several large sites including a number in the UK specialising in the supply of ingredients to the Quick Service Restaurant market.
As a result of ongoing investment and planned growth, they’re looking for an experienced leader with strong coaching and Continuous Improvement skills to take responsibility for the largest team on site focusing on Value-Added Products, while supporting the Factory Manager with site-wide performance, productivity and efficiency improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ production management experience in a Food Manufacturing environment, along with excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrable experience improving performance. H&S, Engineering or Lean Manufacturing qualifications are advantageous.

Day-to-day of the role:
* Forging strong cross-site relationships, guiding line leaders and operatives while keeping communication clear and collaborative.
* Overseeing budgets, schedules, quality delivery and continuous-improvement activity to maximise efficiency and reduce cost.
* Leading, developing and motivating the team, shaping structure, expectations and growth plans to build engagement, capability and accountability.
* Championing safety and compliance, ensuring thorough investigations, high standards and a proactive approach to risk control.
* Representing the business professionally, hosting visitors, strengthening supplier connections and supporting community, environmental and CSR commitments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* 3+ years’ Production or Operations Management experience in a Food or Beverage Manufacturing environment
* Proven track record in improving team performance by raising staff morale, coaching staff and promoting empowered working environments
* Qualifications or prior experience in H&S, Engineering or Lean Manufacturing is advantageous but not essential
