About the role We are looking for a Solutions Consultant to join our Solutions team based in our Glasgow office. As a Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for leading small to medium technical projects, delivering solutions across Cloud and Infrastructure with a focus on the Microsoft stack of products and services, additionally working on small to medium divestments & mergers where required. You will be there at the start of new customers’ journeys to ensure a smooth transition to Aspire’s managed IT and Security services, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement with their technology. As a Solutions Consultant, you will also occasionally work alongside our Sales team, helping to assess customers’ needs and challenges and will design tailored solutions using Aspire’s product portfolio. Good communication skills will help you to deliver customers' technical solutions and explain technical issues in a way that non-experts can understand. Customer service is key to success in the role – living our values are woven through everything we do to guarantee that our service delivery is second to none. Efficiency is important to succeed, as you will be managing a diverse workload. What you will be doing Consult with customers to understand their business challenges and determine the correct technical solution. Completing technical aspects in proposal documentation, RFIs, RFPs, ITTs and presentations. Customer onboarding for Aspire’s Real Care and Real Protect managed services. Deliver Cloud and Infrastructure projects including mergers and divestments to a high standard. Configuration and installation of hardware on customer sites or data centres as required. Communicate with project managers and customers to ensure they are kept abreast of project delivery. Maintain and foster adherence to the Aspire values in all that you undertake and people you engage with. Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies relevant to the role. Due to the nature of the role, you may on occasion be expected to travel throughout the UK with overnight stays. You will suit the role if you have Proven experience in an IT role, preferably within an MSP environment. Subject matter expertise ideally evidenced by professional certifications (eg. Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Modern Desktop Associate, Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator). Good communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers across all levels to deliver impactful technical solutions. Passion for technology solutions. Good problem-solving skills. An enthusiastic, committed and flexible approach to work. Be solutions driven, demonstrating a confident and personable approach when dealing with customers. The ability to work well to deadlines and remain calm under pressure. An good standard of written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work well with other teams in order to drive through service improvements. Full UK Driving License.
