We are looking for a Project Controller for a 6 Month contract based in Derby (Remote working - 3 days in office, 2 working from home) on behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs.
As a Project Controller, you would be supporting the Project Manager to govern, manage and report on a portfolio of project and supporting the delivery of key milestones.
As a Project Controller, you will be responsible for:
Organising and facilitating the regular drum beat of meetings.
Co-ordinating inputs as part of the process to support annual commitments, including 5YP and resource planning.
Co-ordinating and reporting on risk management across the team.
Supporting, and implementing assurance checks for, the change management process for the portfolio.
Interfacing with the PMO to implement best practice and ensure alignment with company management processes.
The ideal Project Controller candidate will have:
Experience of working as a Project Controller in portfolio environment
Demonstrated significant personal accountability for Quality, Time, Cost, and performance.
Confidence using SAP
Degree level qualification preferable or equivalent industry experience and member of a professional body and working towards an APMPQ qualification or equivalent.
Good communication, presentation skills and an ability to work in a multi-disciplinary and global environment.
