Rural Surveyor | Salaried Partner
You will be involved in a wide variety of rural work which includes:
1. Professional instructions for a range of clients including private and corporate owners; and rural businesses, with various property holdings including estates; let and in hand farms; dwellings; commercial premises.
2. RICS Red Book valuations for tax and accounts purposes.
3. Advice on diversification opportunities for rural property owners and advice on how to exploit opportunities.
4. Sale of rural property for new and retained clients.
You will need to be able to:
5. Manage a varied and busy workload whilst managing clients' expectations.
6. Work independently as well as being part of a small team.
7. Work with a sense of urgency and ensure professional instructions are delivered on time and within budget.
8. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
9. Keep up to date with the changing marketplace.
10. Recognise new opportunities and help to develop the wider services of the firm.
As a small business we will need someone who will pitch in and get involved as and when required. Essential skills are:
11. RICS qualified.
12. RICS Registered Valuer (preferred but not essential).
13. Self-starter, with a can-do approach and good initiative.
14. Quick learner who is adaptable.
15. Full clean driver's license.
16. Interest in rural property.
An expanding partnership and there is good opportunity for career progression if desired.
